Management Information Assistant - Data Management (Arbor MIS helpdesk)
Grade 8 Permanent Post Full Time. Flexible working – Working from home, The Quad, Chesterfield and County Hall, Matlock.
Education Data Hub is recruiting to a permanent post within the Data Management Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality Arbor Support for schools and multi-academy trusts (MATs) across the country.
In this role, you will support schools and academies in their use of the Arbor, including inputting and maintaining pupil and staff data, extracting reports and utilising a range of system modules. You will also assist Management Information Officers in delivering training to school staff, as well as creating guidance documents and newsletters.
The post also includes a range of administrative responsibilities to support the Data Management service. These include updating Services for Schools (S4S), creating contracts, maintaining the customer database, monitoring checkouts on S4S, and publishing communications to schools. You will also provide general support for the service, Team Leader, and Team Manager.
You may also be required to manage small projects or take ownership of specific elements of the service; so therefore, the ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and maintain attention to detail is essential. There may be opportunities to support other management information systems in the future.
Our service consistently receives excellent feedback from our customers, largely due to our strong knowledge and understanding of how schools operate and the challenges they face. Experience of working within an education setting, or a good understanding of this environment would therefore be beneficial.
