Based at County Hall, Matlock in the Property Transport Team 

We are looking for an efficient, motivated individual, who can work well as part of a team or independently. They will need to be well organised to manage their workload effectively and have experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines. Previous experience of working in a financial or administrative environment would be desirable but a willingness to learn is also important and training will be provided. 

Applicants should have good customer service skills and be effective communicators able to provide accurate information and advice to customers and colleagues.  They will need to use their initiative and problem-solving skills and good literacy; numeracy and ICT skills are essential.  They should also be familiar with Microsoft packages in particular excel and have the ability to use bespoke systems and databases. 

The post will involve a variety of general administrative tasks such collating information, inputting data, record keeping. The successful candidate will also have to deal with enquiries in writing, emails and via telephone. 

This role currently offers hybrid working options which will be to subject to service needs. This means, in addition to working from our office, there are opportunities to work from home.  The post is for 37 hours per week.
