We are looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our dedicated and friendly team.
As a School Business Assistant, you will provide a professional, efficient and effective administration service in the school office alongside the School Business Officer.
The hours are to be worked over 5 days, 9am to 12noon.
Ideally we are looking for the following experience in a suitable candidate for the position of School Business Assistant:
- Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Experience of using Microsoft Office software.
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Willing to undertake and enhanced DBS check.
- Positive and current references.
- Commitment to safeguarding requirements including the health, safety and welfare of pupils and staff.
- Recent and relevant administrative experience, including data input.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Previous experience of purchasing and stock control.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding.
- Knowledge of data protection.
- Understanding of equal opportunities.
- Friendly and approachable manner with both adults and children.
- Sense of humour
- Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm.
- Awareness of security issues
- Awareness of health and safety issues
- Ability to demonstrate initiative.
