An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the busy Adult Social Care Contracting & Market Management Team as a Purchasing Officer.

The Purchasing Officer will support the Older Adults Contract Managers and the Contracts Team with the monitoring of contractual compliance and quality of private, voluntary, and independent sector Care Home Providers throughout the Derbyshire area. The role will involve liaising and negotiating with providers and stakeholders; the collation, interpretation and reviewing of data pertinent to the team’s monitoring functions; and administrative duties. There will be some travel involved for monitoring visits.
