🚌 Mini Bus Driver / Caretaker - Florence Shipley
We’re looking for a caring and dependable Mini Bus Driver/Caretaker to join our friendly team and support our day centre clients 🌟
🔧 Your Role Includes:
- ✅ Daily vehicle checks & reporting defects
- 🚐 Driving clients to and from their homes with support from a passenger assistant
- ♿ Safely operating the wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs
- 🧼 Keeping the mini bus clean, fuelled, and ready
- 📝 Maintaining accurate records
⏰ Working Hours:
- Week 1: Mon–Fri, 8:00am – 12:00pm
- Week 2: Mon–Fri, 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Option to work 3 full days instead of 5 half days may be available
📝 Requirements:
- 🚦 Full, clean UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (essential)
- 🎓 Training provided for mini bus operation & wheelchair safety

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
