We are looking for an enthusiastic, determined and committed English specialist to be part of our English Department from September 2025 at Saint Philip Howard Catholic Voluntary Academy. This is an exciting time to join our flourishing department
You will be responsible for:
- Teaching classes, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of individual pupils
- Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
- Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will teach English to pupils at both KS3 and KS4 ensuring that all fulfil their potential, ensuring that the needs of all students are met and promoting amongst the pupils a keen interest and desire to learn English.
