The successful SENDCO will lead a large team of talented and dedicated Teaching Assistants to ensure the provision for our SEND children is second to none.

We are seeking a practitioner with some SENDCO experience who has the ability to form outstanding relationships with children, staff, external agencies and parents; someone who has high aspirations and is passionate about providing children with the very best opportunities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Loves working with children and puts children’s well-being before anything else.
  • Loves learning and is fascinated by the learning process.
  • Believes in each and every child and has high aspirations for their achievement.
  • Understands behaviour as communication and seeks to understand and respond to what behaviour is telling us about children’s needs.
  • Has the knowledge and skills to design learning experiences and provision that supports the 10% of our children who are diagnosed as Neurodiverse.
  • Is on a mission to continually develop themselves as a practitioner.
  • Loves supporting and inspiring fellow staff and students.
  • Has ideas, creativity, resilience and energy.
  • Sincerely values every member of the school community.
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
  • Has the ability to lead and inspire children and staff.

We can offer you:

  • The opportunity to make a real difference to children’s lives.
  • Enthusiastic, dedicated and supportive colleagues
  • A school full of amazing and inspiring children

Interested in joining the team? Come and have a look for yourself; we’d love to show you our school and introduce you to the stars of the show - our wonderful children. By visiting the school prior to applying, you will get a real feel for the place and be able to ask further questions, so please do phone for an appointment on 01773 833138
