We are a successful, friendly primary school in a beautiful setting and are looking to appoint a highly skilled and enthusiastic teacher, with the knowledge and skills to enhance our children’s learning in our early years class.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is an excellent EYFS practitioner with a strong understanding of early childhood development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.
- Can create a stimulating, language-rich and engaging learning environment that supports play-based learning both indoors and outdoors.
- Has high expectations for all children and is committed to supporting every child to achieve their best.
- Is able to plan high-quality learning experiences across the EYFS areas of learning, building strong foundations in early communication, literacy and mathematics.
- Can effectively observe, assess and respond to children’s learning to support their development and progress.
- Is committed to actively supporting the school’s vision and values and role modelling these to children and colleagues (Ready, Respectful, Resilient).
- Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, recognising the importance of partnership in the early years.
- Can contribute positively to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Is reflective and committed to ongoing professional development.
- Shows enthusiasm, creativity, integrity and professionalism in their work with young children.
