Class Teacher

The Headteacher and governors are looking to appoint a talented, creative, reflective and forward-looking teacher to join our hard working and dedicated team from September 2025.  This is a part time (0.6 FTE/3 days) and fixed term position until 31 August 2026 in a mixed reception and key stage 1 class.    

As part of a small teaching team, you will really have the opportunity to make a difference.  We are looking to recruit the ideal candidate.  

The successful candidate will: 

• be an excellent teacher who shows passion and commitment to learning 
• have high expectations of teaching and learning and behaviour for learning 
• ideally have experience of EYFS/ KS1 and mixed age classes  
• demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best for all of our children both academically and personally                                                                                              
• understand the benefits of a relevant, meaningful and exciting curriculum that fosters a love of learning and a passion for enquiry 
• be able to establish good working relationships with staff, pupils, parents, carers, governors and the wider community 
• have a strong work ethic and be prepared to go the ‘extra mile’
