Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We're seeking a dynamic Teaching practitioner with an interest in PHSE to join our dedicated primary team at Holly House School

Holly House School is a Local Authority Residential Special School for children aged 7 to 14 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

Holly House is on an exciting journey, and this is an opportunity to help shape its future and the opportunities for our young people. We are a ‘community that builds ambition to achieve potential’

You should demonstrate strong leadership and be committed to high standards of teaching with equally high expectations for all pupils. You will have the skills to provide consistent high-performance teaching across core subjects at K.S.2 and K.S.3. You will be ambitious about continually developing your practice to support SEND pupils and deepening your pedagogical skills.

At Holly House School, we follow the Thrive Approach and believe in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students with SEMH needs. Our school is a place where every individual is valued, and where creativity and compassion drive our approach to education.

We promote high expectations for all our pupils whilst recognising the challenges they face. Our purpose is to develop skills in our pupils, so they become confident and successful learners, build pride in themselves, and make positive contributions to their communities.

We celebrate the many and varied achievements of our pupils.

If you support our values of promoting respect for one another, a belief in positive relationships and Positive Behaviour Support through unconditional positive regard we would like to hear from you.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. To arrange a visit prior to application, please call 01246 450530 to make an appointment
