Our children need a teacher who

  • is enthusiastic about teaching and learning,
  • can support children effectively and consistently to secure good outcomes
  • inspires children in varied learning activities that are relevant, purposeful, exciting and fun
  • values children’s uniqueness
  • can deliver specific programmes to small groups (such as Nurture and Lego-therapy) to support their access of the curriculum and development

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, skilled teacher who:

  • Will have high expectations and lead by example in all their work.
  • Will work with and support other staff to maintain consistent education
  • Will work flexibly, including teaching different classes as required to support school improvement activities.
  • Will maintain accountability for children’s development that they work with while not being the substantive class teacher.
  • Is willing to embrace challenge and show initiative
  • Is reflective in their practice and seeks to develop professionally #

This post will include teaching a Y5 class on Thursdays and Fridays and other classes (to release substantive teachers) and groups of children that require additional support on Monday to Wednesday.
