Ashbourne Hilltop Primary and Nursery School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner to join our dedicated team and lead our improvements in English.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced KS2 teacher to our team. This position is ideal for a candidate with leadership experience or alternatively for someone wanting to take the next step into school leadership.

A successful applicant will:

  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
  • demonstrate a good understanding of the national curriculum and have high expectations for pupils accessing it.
  • have an understanding of and ability to work as part of an effective team.
  • be able to support less able children while extending high attaining children to working at a greater depth of understanding. 

We are hoping to appoint on a permanent contract, however if you feel you would be perfect for the roll but cannot currently commit to this, then we would welcome a conversation with you.
