The SENDCO position at Walton Peak is for someone who is relentless in their pursuit for an excellent education for all.
The role will require the successful candidate to be responsible for developing effective systems and processes in line with partnership best practice, training and supporting staff and liaising with parents, children, and external agencies. To fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. You must meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards.
To assist the Head Teacher as part of the Leadership Team in the management and development of the different strands of SEND across the school. To effectively support the leadership and manage behaviour, attendance, and pupil premium whilst fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a SENCO.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing school with in the Flying High Partnership. In March we secured a “GOOD” OfSTED outcome, the successful candidate will be an integral appointment in our pursuit for excellence.
