Samuel Allsopp Primary & Nursery is a recently rebranded school with a new vision centred about the premise that every child CAN. The school’s supportive, new leadership team are looking to recruit a holistic practitioner who will put our children first at all times, and support the children in their most formative years of school – Key Stage 1. The position is for a September start date and to cover Maternity Leave although, for the right candidate, it may be able to commence prior to the start of the new academic year on either qualified or unqualified teacher rate.
The successful candidate will be:
- A clear and engaging communicator in front of the children – someone who can hold their interest
- Able to hold a sense of ambition for all children in their class -even those who finding learning a challenge
- Confident and effective in delivering daily Phonics lessons
- Is flexible and adaptable in the classroom – in order to meet the needs of the children in front of them
- Speaks the English language confidently and has impeccable standards of spoken grammar
- Has a professional disposition and is research driven
- Has a restorative approach
- Someone who holds a ‘can do’ attitude and can be relied upon to put their heart and soul into our school
