The Governors of Pinxton Nursery School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Nursery Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded nursery school and make a positive difference to the lives of young children and their families. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences that enable every child to thrive.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)/Newly Qualified Teachers.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development.
  • Has high expectations for all children.
  • Can create a stimulating, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and has excellent communication skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
