INSPIRE, ACHIEVE, CELEBRATE, CARE, BELIEVE, SUCCEED

Due to the retirement of our current Executive Headteacher, we are looking for an aspirational and inspirational EHT to take us into our new chapter, to build on the strength of our schools’ stories so far and to continue our journey.  Can you lead this adventure?

Set in South Derbyshire, Dove Federation is a unique federation of two primary schools, one of which is a rural Church School, both of which have their own distinctive characters. They are set on the border of Staffordshire and Leicestershire with great transport links to the A38 and A50.

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who:

  • Can build excellent relationships with children, staff, parents, Governors, and the wider community.
  • Is committed to excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Will value our children and take pride in their achievements.
  • Has a personalised and inclusive approach to education underpinned by Christian distinctiveness.

We can offer:

  • A friendly and happy learning environment.
  • Motivated children and dedicated staff.
  • A proud focus on sporting success in competitions.
  • A commitment to continued professional development.
  • A committed, supportive, and active Governing Board.

Visits to both schools by arrangement are warmly welcomed – please contact us on 01283 813255 between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Please also visit our website for further details of the school – https://www.dovefederation.co.uk/

Dove Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Closing date:    2 March 2025

Interviews:       18 and 19 March 2025
