Together we learn, together we nurture, together we thrive.
Our fabulous Federation is seeking to appoint a SENCO and Behaviour Lead to work across our two schools (Wigley Primary School and Penny Acres Primary School). If you feel that you have the potential to join our team, to ensure provision for pupils with SEND and behavioural needs is the very best it can be, then we would love to meet you.
This is a role with no timetabled class commitment and we are looking for a skilled professional who can maintain and enhance provision across our schools by implementing training, modelling best practice, working directly with children, liaising with external agencies and families, writing funding applications and generally supporting the whole Federation in getting the very best for all of our children.
Subject to the appropriate checks, the successful candidate will be invited to start from January 2026.
We can offer you fantastic, enthusiastic and well-behaved children, a dedicated and friendly staff who are committed to school improvement, supportive parents and two wonderful, small, rural primary schools.
If you would like any further information or you would like to arrange to visit either of our schools, please email info@wigley.derbyshire.sch.uk or enquiries@pennyacres.derbyshire.sch.uk, or phone 01246 566432 or 0114 2890330.
Provisional Interview Date: 17 October 2025
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
