The Governors of Barlborough Primary School would like to appoint a hardworking, creative and committed Deputy Headteacher who is passionate about children and their education to join our team. The successful applicant will work alongside our Headteacher, the other members of our management team and the Governors to raise standards and to enable continuous school improvement. We are looking for someone who is an outstanding teacher and leader and can move our whole staff team forward with confidence. Our school motto is ‘Aiming Higher - Together’ and we are committed to ensuring that every pupil in our school is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. In our last Ofsted inspection (Sep 2019), the school was judged as ‘good.’ We are looking for someone who can both support and lead our school on our journey of continuous improvement.
Initially the post is likely to be based in Key Stage 2. However, we wish to appoint someone who is flexible and able to teach from Reception to Year 6. We are looking for someone with a wide range of interests, both Curricular and beyond, so that these skills and knowledge can be utilised to enhance the educational experience of our children.
