Herbert Strutt Primary School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, compassionate and ambitious leader to play a significant role in shaping the strategic direction of our school, while upholding our nurturing and inclusive culture. The role includes a teaching commitment and leadership time, balanced to support our school's continuous improvement and your own development.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with extensive teaching experience across the primary phase
- Has a strong leadership track record and a clear understanding of school improvement and team work
- Is passionate about inclusion and committed to the ‘whole child’
- Can inspire, motivate and support staff through kindness, clarity and high expectations of behaviour and assessment
- Is confident in leading an area of the school improvement plan to make positive impact
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
- Is approachable, visible and values strong relationships with children, families and the community
