Are you ready to lead on statutory compliance and risk management for a diverse property portfolio? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Statutory Compliance Manager to join our Property – Facilities Management team and play a pivotal role in shaping compliance strategy across the Council.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and implement the Council’s statutory compliance and risk strategy for property.
  • Provide expert advice on property related legislative and regulatory requirements, ensuring full compliance across all buildings.
  • Embed a culture of assurance and continuous improvement, introducing best practice and innovative solutions.
  • Manage specialist teams covering asbestos, radon, fire safety, legionella, and statutory compliance.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and external bodies to influence and drive compliance excellence.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience in risk management, statutory compliance, and health & safety systems.
  • Proven ability to influence at senior levels, write executive reports, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of property-related legislative obligations and compliance assurance regimes.
  • Nebosh Diploma (Level 6), BOSE and Radiation Protection Supervisor qualifed.
