Are you ready to make a real difference in your community? Join the Council’s Streetscene Team and play a vital role in keeping our streets clean and safe. We are looking for dedicated individuals to carry out the collection of household and commercial waste on a collection round.

Your Role: As a member of the Refuse and Cleansing Team, you will be responsible for the collection of waste from household and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires dedication, teamwork, physical effort and a strong work ethic.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking individuals who possess the following skills and experience:
- Waste Collection Expertise: Knowledge and experience in collecting waste from household and commercial properties.
- Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating industrial refuse containers and lifting equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to sustain high levels of physical output over prolonged periods.
- Driving Skills: A current clean Full Driving Licence (Category B minimum) and experience in driving light commercial vehicles.
- Team Player: Experience in working effectively within a team.
- Time Management: Ability to work to pre-targeted schedules and meet tight deadlines.
