We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Service Manager to lead our Adult Social Care Contracts Team.
The team are responsible for the management of multiple ASC contracts which includes (but is not limited to) our Integrated Equipment loan service, Day Service Provision, provision of supplies for or internal services and specialist support contracts.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong contract management and procurement background with an understanding of Adult Social Care, who will report into the Group Manager for Contracting and Compliance.
The team undertakes contract and performance management of Adult Social Care contracts across Derbyshire. The team works with a number of Small medium enterprises, voluntary sector and large organisations who deliver a range of services across Derbyshire including day services, advocacy and mental health services.
As Service Manager your main job responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all contracting activities are carried out in accordance with legislation, council policies and procedures including financial regulations.
- Be responsible for the negotiation and contract compliance of providers to address any shortfall in the quality of services including safeguarding concerns.
- To support Providers to ensure there is continuous improvement in service delivery.
- To develop a partnership working approach with NHS and independent sector providers as well as working collaboratively with our internal teams
Prospective candidates should have experience of contract and performance management, preferably within a social care setting together with good communication and negotiation skills.
