About you
You will be someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organised in a busy frontline service and is motivated by practical environmental improvement. You will bring confidence, flexibility and a positive approach, along with experience in customer service, presentations or public engagement, and good IT skills.

What we are looking for

  • five GCSEs at grades A* to C, or equivalent, including Maths, English and ICT

  • strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • confidence building positive relationships with residents, community groups and partner organisations
  • experience in customer service, a busy office environment or delivering presentations
  • knowledge of waste management, local government experience, or relevant waste, IT, marketing or publicity qualifications would be desirable
