Chesterfield Borough Council is on the lookout for a proactive Waste Services Manager to spearhead our efforts in response to evolving government waste policies, including the introduction of food waste collections.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Change: Drive innovation and efficiency in waste services through effective project management and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Customer Focus: Champion customer-centric approaches, ensuring responsive and high-quality services that meet the needs of our community.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships for impactful results.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a dedicated in-house team to deliver excellence, while effectively managing service contracts with our primary partner, Veolia.
