Legal Assistant (Property Team)
Matlock/Hybrid 18.5 hours per week

Derbyshire County Council is currently seeking a skilled and motivated legal assistant to join our legal team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive local authority, providing legal advice and support to the council. Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Preparation of leases and licences
- Preparing other conveyancing documentation as appropriate
- Carrying out research relating to property matters
What skills and experience do you need to have:
- Experience of property related matters
- Experience in drafting leases, licences & other property & conveyancing documentation
- Experience working in a legal environment Qualified to level 3 with relevant experience
Or
- Significant practical experience acquired through a combination of training and working in a relevant area; demonstrating development through a series of progressively more demanding roles

Our Legal Team is contractually based in Matlock, Derbyshire, but we work on a flexible basis which includes options for home working. There'll be an opportunity to discuss future working arrangements at interview.
