Exciting things are happening within the Digital Services Team at Derbyshire County Council, and we’re looking for a highly skilled, forward‑thinking Security Architect to join our Strategy & Architecture team. Following a major organisational and digital strategy review, we are investing in modern tools, innovative platforms, and new ways of working to support a large‑scale Digital Services transformation programme. Our ambition is to deliver modern, reliable and user‑centred digital services for the citizens and communities of Derbyshire — and you could be a key part of that journey. As a Security Architect (G11), you will operate within a senior technical role, driving the secure design and governance of enterprise‑wide ICT solutions. You will recommend security controls and identify solutions to support business objectives and provide advise and recommendations on important security related technologies and assess risks associated with proposed changes or initiatives.
