An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Business Systems and Intelligence Team within Corporate Services and Transformation . All roles within the service operate under a broad Job Description and Person Profile, however the successful candidate will have a focus on management information to support various services within Children’s Services, as well as supporting associated statutory returns.
The post holder will need to demonstrate excellent ICT skills including experience of data management and experience of SQL and Power BI would be desirable. The role provides a varied and challenging development opportunity working across a wider team. As well as technical skills, candidates should be enthusiastic and customer focused, possess effective problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage projects if required.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in the areas of work they cover and will ideally have experience of working in Children’s Services and an understanding of how recording systems support operational delivery and good practice in recording information about the Children and Families we work with. The role will involve working closely with relevant Heads of Service and managers and relevant colleagues within the Authority.
The purpose of the Business Systems and Intelligence Team is to support operational services to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people in Derbyshire through the provision of integrated and focussed information and ICT services.
