Senior Housing Options Officer

We are currently looking to appoint a Senior Housing Options Officer to join our Housing Solutions Team on a permanent basis. 

As the Senior Housing Options Officer you will support the Housing Solutions Supervisor on the day-to-day operation of the following housing service areas at the Council; Homelessness, Lettings and Allocations. 

You will provide senior support to members of the Housing Solutions Team and manage your own homeless caseload alongside this. 

You will be required to attend some internal meetings on behalf of the Housing Solutions Team and represent the Council at multi-agency external meetings. 

To be succesful in this role you will need to have working experience of Homelessnessness, Lettings and Allocations, be self-motivated, decisive and results driven, with a strong customer focus. Previous experience in a senior or training role is desirable. 

The post also comes with casual car user allowance. You will therefore needs to have means of transport to attend meetings and customer home visits when required.
