Our busy Customer Services Support Section is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person to work directly with the Customer Service Section to help with Revenues and Benefits administration and front-line duties.
The successful applicant will work as a member of a team assisting customers with their enquiries, in addition to providing administrative support to staff in the Revenues and Benefits Business Units, and to work as a member of the team with regard to the operation of the Council’s payment kiosk, which includes cashiering and banking procedures for the cash and card payments and to assist customers with using the kiosk, as well as carrying out internal and external post duties for the authority as a whole.
Hours of work:
Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday (7.5 hours per day), Wednesday (7 hours)
Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday (7.5 hours per day)
Applicants need to have good communication and numeracy skills and be able to work to a high degree of accuracy. The ability to work under pressure both on your own and as part of a busy team is essential; cash handling experience would be advantageous.
This post requires the use of many of the Council’s computerised systems so excellent IT skills are essential
