Senior Finance Officer – Capital

Grade 12 (£41,765 - £45,159)

We are seeking an experienced qualified finance professional to join the Capital Team within Financial Management and Strategy.   Reporting to the Finance Manager, this post will play a key role in supporting the Council’s Capital Finance Team with oversight of a large and complex Capital Programme, leading and coordinating the production of Capital Monitoring Reports, and with supporting the Council’s Capital Asset Accounting as part of the statutory accounts process.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience of Local Government Capital Accounting requirements, good technical knowledge and understanding, and be skilled in the use of financial systems.  For further information please see the attached Job and Person Profile.
