Programme Development Worker

Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service has vacancy for a Programme Development Worker (PDW) with responsibility for 14-19 teaching and learning on study programme at Cotmanhayand Ilkeston Adult Community Centre S44 6PP. This position requires a L4 (or higher) teaching qualification.

The contract is for 18.5 hours per week (0.5 fte) worked equally on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am until 3.30pm (6.1 hours each day).              

The PDW role includes teaching and assessing (as a qualified tutor) and time allocated for a variety of managerial duties supporting the development of programmes, management of delivery staff, promotion and improvement of teaching and learning within DACES provision; development and support of work experience placements; liaison with partner agencies and families; monitoring achievement and progression and recruiting learners.
