Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service has a vacancy for a Programme Development Worker (PDW) with responsibility for the new Supported Internship programme starting at Chatsworth DE45 1PP.
The Supported Internship is a rolling 1-year study programme which supports 8 to 10 Derbyshire young people, aged 18 to 24 years and with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) to prepare for paid employment. DACES are the education provider and work in partnership with Direct Education Business Partnership for job coaching and Chatsworth as the host business. The PDW will act as tutor and co-ordinator for this programme and will be based at Chatsworth most of the time.
The PDW posts carry out a wide range of duties supporting the development of programmes, management of delivery staff, delivery and improvement of teaching and learning within DACES provision, oversight of appropriate SEND adaptations, liaising with partner agencies and families and monitoring achievement and progression.
