Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service is looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced tutors to work in our centres across Derbyshire and online, to teach ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). ESOL tutors will be working with young people and adults who have recently arrived in the country. The learners’ English language skills will vary from pre-entry to level 1. Experience working with learners from different cultural backgrounds is essential. Experience working with looked after children is desirable.

What we need:

Applicants should hold a recognised subject qualification, have subject expertise and should already hold an adult teaching qualification.

Applicants should be able to deliver a blended learning approach to maintain engagement, interaction and motivation of learners.
