Team Leader (Higher Level Teaching and Learning Assistant)

Abercrombie Primary School is seeking to appoint a full-time dedicated and highly motivated Higher-Level Teaching and Learning Assistant. This role will involve whole class teaching including some PPA cover or short-term cover of whole classes. We are looking for someone who can be flexible, hardworking and caring. As a HLTA you will be expected to consistently demonstrate the expectations outlined in the HLTA standards.

You will provide teacher and pupil support to enable pupils to access all areas of the school curriculum and enhance pupil achievement. You will assist in a range of support activities in relation to individuals’ needs, safeguarding, care, health and wellbeing of the pupils to ensure a safe and secure environment and that every child thrives.
