The Governors of The Dove Federation are seeking to appoint a skilled, compassionate, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Heath Fields Primary School. This role involves providing one-to-one support for a child in Year 4 who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to Down’s syndrome.

We are looking for a candidate with the knowledge, patience, and commitment to make a real difference—someone who can build positive relationships and help the child thrive both academically and socially. Experience of working with children with additional needs is desirable, and a genuine interest in inclusive education is essential.

Heath Fields Primary School is a warm and inclusive school, located in the village of Hatton, South Derbyshire. Our pupils are well-behaved, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team, with access to ongoing professional development and opportunities for collaboration across our federation, which includes Church Broughton Primary School. Heath Fields was graded Good by Ofsted in July 2023.
