Brockley Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all students. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role will focus on supporting pupils in KS1 who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, and various barriers to learning.

Job Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to assist children with their emotional, social, and academic development. The role requires an empathetic approach, particularly for students with SEND who face difficulties in self-regulation, communication, and engagement in classroom activities. Your goal will be to help these children overcome their challenges, develop resilience, and thrive in the learning environment. Ideally we are looking for someone who understands attachment and relationship awareness.
