The pupils, staff and Governors of Woodbridge Junior School are looking to appoint two experienced, enthusiastic, empathetic, fun, hardworking and motivated SEND Teaching and Learning Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team as soon as possible.  The posts will involve supporting the learning of children with SEND needs both inside and outside the classroom.

We currently have 1 X 25 hour vacancy and 1 X 15 hour vacancy due to rising pupil numbers.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children in Key Stage 2.
  • Has a wide range of knowledge and experience of supporting children’s varied needs, especially SEMH needs, ASD and ADHD.
  • Is warm, friendly and empathetic, and is able to develop excellent relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Aims high in all aspects of school life for self and others.
  • Has a sense of humour and is fun, fully embracing all aspects of school life.
  • Has experience of running interventions in an educational setting.
  • Has a strong commitment to safeguarding children.
