Teaching and Learning Assistant

The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a fantastic Teaching Assistant to work in our school. We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated individual who can work flexibly across the primary age range. 

The role will support a child with behavioural and academic needs, on a 1:1 basis, during a morning or afternoon session, each day. During the other sessions, your duties may include: 

-       working in the role of “general” class TA   

-       leading intervention groups 

-       supervising children during the lunchtime period 

The successful candidate will require: 

-       a positive outlook and “can do” attitude 

-       excellent behaviour management skills 

-       a strong sense of teamwork 

-       a good sense of humour
