The Village Federation are seeking to appoint a part time Teaching and Learning Assistant who will be deployed at Brassington Primary School. 

At Brassington Primary School we nurture children so that they can learn, achieve and grow together as a family by providing meaningful learning experiences and opportunities. We are very proud of our wonderful village school, and we work hard as a team to ensure everyone is happy and achieving their full potential.

The successful candidate will be focused on the mixed-age junior class but will be able to work with children across the primary age-range. We welcome applications from any career background. 

The appointment will also include 3 hours of midday supervision per week. In this role the successful candidate will enjoy working with children from the whole primary age range and will work with them while eating their lunchtime meal and helping them to enjoy their play through planned and supported activities

We are seeking a passionate, committed, and flexible team member to join us from September 2026. This role offers a combination of Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor hours.

The working pattern would be: Monday- Wednesday all day
