Teaching and Learning Assistant (SENTA)

The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic practitioner to support in our learning support room, alongside two other adults. 

There are 7-10 children in our learning support room, which we call The Tree House.  The children have a range of special educational needs and are working at reception, year 1/2 age related expectations. 

Hours are 9am-12:15pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will have knowledge, understanding and commitment to work closely with The Tree House Team Leader, to provide support for the children, promoting independence, encouraging inclusion and access to the curriculum and learning resources.

We are looking for someone with a caring, calm nature who will have a range of strategies to ensure the child’s personal, social and emotional, and learning needs are met. Experience of working with children with special educational needs, is essential.
