Teaching and Learning Assistant (EYFS/KS1)

The governors are looking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic Federation team for September 2023. The post could be based at either Edale CofE Primary School or Hope Primary School depending on the successful candidates experience and pending a reorganisation of current support staffing positions. The successful candidate will be supporting children in Reception/Year 1 and 2.  The person appointed will have experience in working with children in the early years and a desire to develop their skills further.  We are looking for someone with a positive, caring and inclusive approach who would be willing to lead phonics sessions for small groups, get involved with setting up the environment (both inside and outside) to allow for high quality continuous provision as well as support the class teacher in managing the varied curriculum demands of a mixed-age class.
