The children, staff and governors at Lenthall Infant and Nursery School wish to appoint a hard-working Nursery Teaching and Learning Assistant, with drive and energy, to join our family. We are looking for our successful candidates to have a passion for and excellent knowledge of how young children learn through play and interactions.

Your Role:
- Support Learning: Assist the Early Years teacher in resourcing and delivering exciting activities that inspire curiosity and creativity in our children. Co-playing to support children learning in the provision.
- Child Development: Help develop social, emotional, and physical skills through play-based learning and exploration.
- Creativity: Contribute to creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels safe, happy, and engaged.
- Individual Attention: Provide tailored support for children, ensuring their unique needs are met and they thrive both academically and socially.
- Communication: Foster positive relationships with parents, ensuring they’re part of their child’s learning journey through Dojo and face-to-face parental engagement activities and events.
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for early years education – you’re enthusiastic about working with children aged 3-5.
- Patience, empathy, and creativity – you're ready to engage children in fun, play-based learning.
- Strong communication skills – you’re confident in building relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Experience or qualifications in Early Years Education (EYFS) is desirable, but a love for working with children is a must!
