We are seeking to appoint two Teaching and Learning Assistants to work with a range of children who have additional needs and funding for 31.25 hours per week from September (or possibly earlier). It is essential that candidates have a good general education, are literate and numerate and are able to communicate well orally and in writing. Successful candidates are required to hold a Teaching and Learning Assistants Level 2 qualification or above.
We are looking for a member of staff who is well organised, enjoys working with children, who is able to challenge, motivate and care for each pupil as an individual and foster independence. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team are essential for this role. Experience of working with children with ASD and ADHD is desirable, as is experience of working with parents.
