The Governors of Clowne Junior School are looking to appoint a Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant to start in September 2023.
We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated individual to work in our fantastic school. We have hardworking children, engaged families and a team of staff who are welcoming, professional and supportive.
The role involves working under the direction and guidance of class teachers to supervise and provide support for children with specific needs, which will enable them to learn independently and in group situations. As well as general Teaching Assistant duties, the role will also involve supporting children over the lunch period. GRIP funding allocations will determine which year groups the roles will be allotted to.
The successful candidate will be positive, flexible and able to respond to the needs of our children. They should have a good level of communication, English and Maths skills. They should also have experience of working with primary age children.
If you are a team player, positive role model and can work under your own initiative, then we would love to hear from you. Visits by prospective candidates are warmly encouraged and can be arranged by contacting the Business Manager on 01246 810416.
Provisional Interview Date: 22 June 2023.
