We welcome applications from teaching assistants who have had previous experience supporting children with SEND both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups within KS1. Applicants will be able to demonstrate their passion for SEND and be able to clearly articulate the impact and importance of both high-quality teaching and access to a bespoke curriculum for SEND children.
You will be expected to lead interventions both 1:1 and in small group situations, in all areas of the curriculum, as well as contribute to adapting planning to meet the needs of the children you work with. You will be mainly supporting autistic children who have differences with communication and interaction and therefore it is essential you have experience and/or knowledge of supporting the early development of language.
