SEN Teaching and Learning Assistant

Spire Nursery and Infant School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and highly motivated Teaching and Learning Assistant with a passion for working in the Early Years to join our existing team of talented staff.  

This post will be 2 days in our 3 year old nursery (Monday and Tuesday) and 1 day working 1:1 with a child with SEND (Friday)

The school is on a large site and includes a 2 year old nursery, a 3 and 4 year old nursery and an infant school.  We have extensive grounds which include a small farm, Forest School, a pond, and gardening facilities.    

You will be an energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible practitioner with a recognised early years practitioner qualification.  In return we will offer you a supportive environment, a friendly staff, amazing children and an opportunity to further develop your skills in supporting children’s learning and achievement.  

Please note that the recognised Early Years Practitioner Qualification is vital in order to be able to work in our nursery. 

This position will be to begin in September 2026.
