The staff, pupils and governors of this inclusive school wish to appoint four SEND Teaching and Learning Assistants who can inspire our children to achieve their personal best in everything they do.   

Here at Firfield Primary School we offer a warm, caring environment in which to work with friendly, enthusiastic children and an experienced, dedicated and supportive team. 

The successful candidates will start employment at the start of the new academic year on Wednesday 4 September 2024. 

There are four positions available, please see below: 

  • 1x KS1 SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant – working hours 9.00am to 3.00pm (27 hours 30 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year)
  • 1x KS2 SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant – working hours 9.00am to 3.30pm (30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)
  • 1x KS2 SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant – working hours Wednesday 1.00pm to 3.00pm and Thursday – Friday 9.00am to 3.00pm (13 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)
  • 1x KS2 SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant – working hours 9.00am to 12.00pm (15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year) 

The positions will be offered on a fixed-term contract (with a possibility to extend based on pupil numbers).
