New Mills School is a rapidly improving 11-16 secondary school in the stunning High Peak, close to the Peak District and within easy reach of Stockport, Manchester, and East Cheshire.
Our strong results reflect our commitment to an ambitious and inclusive education, driven by our core values—Think Big, Do the Right Thing, and Team Spirit.
We are seeking a flexible and hands-on Technician to work in our Science Department. The role will involve working directly with the Senior Science Technician and Science teaching staff to prepare resources, maintain and order resources and provide technical assistance and advice to teachers and students as required.
You should be highly organised and have a positive and proactive outlook. Experience of working in a Science Technician role would be an advantage, but not a necessity.
You should be a strong team player, looking forward to joining our school at an important time in its development.
Application packs can be obtained from, and should be returned to Pete Eckersley, Office Manager, New Mills School, Church Lane, New Mills High Peak, SK22 4NR, or via email to jobs@newmillsschool.co.uk or from the school website www.newmillsschool.co.uk
