Play Leader Position at Pilsley Primary School (Chesterfield)

A wonderful opportunity to join our Primary & Nursery School rated “Good” by Ofsted in March 2024.

The Governing Body is looking to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and caring Play Leader to help foster social skills, creative play and fitness with our primary age pupils during their lunch break.

The successful candidate will be committed to the welfare of our children but seek a high fun factor with enthusiasm and flair! 

We are looking for people who:

• truly believe in our school motto: “Inspire, Respect, Achieve” – for pupils and staff alike
• have a proven track record of maintaining, or the desire to develop, a great play environment
• can naturally and confidently engage young children
• genuinely want to work together to improve their own skills and abilities
• love education and the rewards of working with children 

The Play Leader we appoint can expect to:

• be an equal member of a forward-thinking staff team
• be supported by research led CPD in school
• teach outgoing and friendly children
