The governing body are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic play coordinator who would like to develop their skills further by taking a leading role in the development of playtimes at our school.
Our dedicated Lunch Team are experienced and enthusiastic members of staff, who ensure every child has a safe, happy and fulfilling lunchtime when eating and playing.
The OPAL Play coordinator will guide the team with day-to-day duties, plan, monitor and review playtime provision and measure the impact of OPAL, reporting this to SLT and governors as required.
Duties include:
Ensure well-being of all pupils.
Ensure a diverse range of playable resources are provided for, and are accessible to, all children.
Discuss resources with the children and use their views to create development plans.
Provide support and training for other school staff or pupils as required.
Ensure enriching play events or opportunities are created.
Create opportunities for play to support the social and behavioural development of pupils.
